INSTRUCTION MANUAL​

An allergy test should be carried out 48 hours before use.

Apply a small amount of colour to a clean area. Do not wash for the next 48 hours. Always apply with gloves. Do not use metallic containers.

1. Define natural shade and white content

2. Define target hair colour

3. Select your PUR HAIR colour tone from the colour chart

4. Choose the right developer depending on the lightening

5. If the hair is very damaged or porous, pre-treat the lengths and ends with a treatment and apply the colour to towel-dried hair.

COMPLETION TREATMENT

1. Emulsify thoroughly 2-3 times with lukewarm water and rinse well
2. Wash with Moisture Shampoo
3. Distribute Chemical Balancer well in towel-dried hair, comb through
4. Leave in for 3 minutes, rinse out
5. Style as usual

MIXING 1:1 1,9% (6 Vol.) / 4% (13 vol.) / 6% (20 Vol.) / 9 % (30 Vol.)

Use 9% (30 vol.) or 12% (40 vol.) to lighten 3-4 levels.

APPLICATION TIME: 40–50 minutes without heat.


FIRST-TIME APPLICATION

(Untreated hair) 
Work the colour into the lengths and ends of the hair, then apply to the roots.

APPLICATION TIME: 35 minutes without heat.


ROOT TREATMENT

First apply to the roots and leave on for 25-30 minutes. Then work the colour into the entire hair and leave on again for 5-10 minutes.
When using lighter colourants, only apply the colour to the roots.


To avoid uneven colour results with lighter dyes, DO NOT comb the colour through!

DEVELOPER

PUR HAIR developer is formulated to protect the structure of the hair during the colouring pro- cess. 
It contains high-quality stabilisers that promise a long-lasting colour result.

TROUBLE SHOOTING

THE COLOUR DOES NOT COVER 100%, 
IS TOO TRANSPARENT!

  • Incorrect mixing ratio
  • Application time to short
  • Remains of styling products are still on the hair
  • Colour applied too thinly

THE COLOUR IS GETTING DARKER!

  • Incorrect mixing ratio (bristle mixture)
  • Very fine, porous hair
  • Colour overlaid
  • Incorrect application (painted into the existing colour)
  • Porosity in the hair, warm pigments cannot stick, 
    cool pigments appear dark
BLEACHING WITH YELLOW TINT?

  • H2O2 too high
  • Partitioned too thick
  • Application time too short
  • Exposure time with heat over the entire time
  • Very strong hair
